She performed with district and county honor ensembles, jazz ensembles, and her high school marching band. In her junior and senior years of high school, she had the opportunity to hold leadership positions that involved teaching her peers.
She has experience teaching middle and high school level band in both small and large ensemble settings. In these positions, she has been under the mentorship of the band directors of these programs. She greatly enjoys sharing her passion for music through teaching.
