Jr. Instructor - Violin

Biography:

Andrea Salazar is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Music Composition (B.M.) at George Mason University, where she studies music composition with Dr. Jesse Guessford and violin under the instruction of Professor June Huang. She attended the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy and to participate in music festivals in Dubai, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Japan, and Singapore, in addition to playing as substitute first violinist for the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. She has taught violin for nine years to students all over the world, in countries such as Thailand, Germany, and the U.S. She enjoys leading worship at her home church, where she sings, plays the piano and violin, and directs new pieces of music she has written. Nothing is more rewarding to Andrea than sharing the gifts of love, music, and knowledge with students!
