MUSIC RECORDING SUMMER CAMP

Directed by Mason Music Technology professor Jesse Guessford, Music Recording Camp will focus on recording, mixing, and producing original music in Mason’s state-of-the-art recording studio. Students will learn how to record vocals and musical instruments, mix their own songs and assist others, use a pro-digital audio workstation, and identify, use and place microphone types. A “release party” showcasing students’ recorded songs will be presented at the end of the week! (Students need not be musicians and may elect to work as recording engineers only.)
