Paul Rolland Strings Method Workshop
July 30 - August 3, 2012

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Paul Rolland Strings Method Workshop is an exciting, career-enhancing opportunity for innovative string teachers, players and students. Learn the acclaimed playing and teaching techniques of the late Paul Rolland. Paul Rolland (1911-1978), former Professor of Violin and String Pedagogy at University of Illinois, is internationally renowned for his innovative approach to string teaching. He emphasized correct motion patterns and playing free from excessive tension. Our program builds on that legacy. (Emphasis is on violin and viola.)
