Computer Game Design Summer Camp
July 16 - July 27, 2012 (half day)


PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Welcome to the exciting world of Computer Game Design! Give your kids a summer camp where fun and education go hand in hand. Participants will begin learning the basics of designing a computer game where they are encouraged to work together in an interactive and supportive environment with other kids of similar age and interest. Participants are divided into separate age groups which meet at different times.
- Age Group I: 9-12 Years (9AM -12NOON)
- Age Group II: 13-18 Years (1PM - 4PM)

- Week 1 theme: "Game Design Fundamentals"; Week 2 theme: "Creating Computer Game Art"
- Instructors from the innovative Computer Game Design department at Mason
- Located in high tech classrooms in Mason's School of Art & Design building
- Participants explore their own game ideas individually and in groups
- Demonstration of the latest in Game Design technology
