Film-Making/Video Production Summer Camp
July 16 - July 27, 2012 (half day)


PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Immerse yourself in the creative and exciting world of filmmaking. This Video Production and Film summer camp will cover the filmmaking process from concept to finished film. Sessions will be fully supervised. Participants are divided into separate age groups which meet at different times.
- Age Group I: 9-12 Years (1PM - 4PMN)
- Age Group II: 13-18 Years (9AM - 12NOON)|

2012 Program Highlights:
- Topics and activities include story development, scriptwriting, preproduction, production, and postproduction
- Skills such as directing, videography, lighting, location sound, and editing with Final Cut Pro will be taught
- Students will collaborate in groups; writing, shooting, and editing short films for their final projects
- Faculty from GMU's Film & Video Studies department
